POLICY GROUP

The Policy group will advise the Working Group and the Executive Committee how to steer EMH forward in preparation for a more pro-active role on the political stage. The topics concerned are topics forwarded by the Cultural and Safety Council to the Executive Committee and agreed upon by the Working Group.

The following matters are among those due to be examined shortly by EMH:

• Develop presentations by EMH on current topics

• Develop definition of a traditional vessel

• Follow the policy of DG's on Transport, Culture and Fishery

• Advise the European Commission and the Council of Europe

• Prepare lobby to National administrations

• To consider the cooperation with EU and UN bodies
